Meet Dr.Grace Kline

Grace Kline, DVM

Dr. Kline received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. After 15 years in general practice and emergency medicine, she decided to specialize in TCVM using Five Element Theory. She found that there were too many cases that couldn't be solved with or explained by allopathic medicine. Once she started to learn about TCVM, she thought back to all the patients she could have made more comfortable using this gentle treatment modality.  This arm of medicine really resonated with her, since many of the herbs. foods and ideologies were familiar to her from her childhood.   Having practiced for many years as an allopathic veterinarian has allowed her to use both skill sets to see "the whole picture".  Listening to her clients and their pets is also an integral part of her TCVM practice.

Dr. Kline practices integrative medicine which is a happy marriage between Eastern and Western treatment modalities. Her philosophy is that TCVM is an adjunctive therapy and her treatment plans are designed to compliment and not replace conventional medicine. She offers a multi modal approach where she evaluates patients and institutes a treatment plan based on individual need. Treatment may include AP, VMM, Herbal, Food, Laser and/or PEMF Therapy.

After 8 years at the Kingdom of Basil, she is excited to bring her services to Mercer Island!   She is eager to team up with your regular veterinarian to offer the best possible prognosis for your pet and most importantly improve quality of life.
